How often will I need to meet with a provider?

Our providers understand that every patient is unique and will require a personalized treatment plan to address their specific needs. Our goal is to achieve significant symptom improvement in the shortest amount of time possible to minimize the number of appointments needed.

The initial psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive 120-minute appointment. Follow-up medication management appointments occur every three months for stable patients. For patients who require medication changes, additional appointments will be needed.

It's important to note that ADHD prescription medications are regulated by the DEA and are subject to special restrictions. Providers are not allowed by law to prescribe more than three months of medication at a time. Additionally, for clinical and legal reasons, providers must physically see patients every three months, or anytime a medication change is needed before they can prescribe medication.

Our staff and providers work tirelessly to create individualized treatment plans and work with insurance companies to ensure that the best medications are approved for each patient through the submission of prior authorizations. We believe in providing the highest level of care to help our patients achieve their treatment goals.
